City Seeks Public Input on Peaks Island Ferry Landside Operations Study

Feedback Requested

The City of Portland is partnering with Casco Bay Lines to identify ways to improve the landside infrastructure on Peaks Island to enhance its safety, comfort and efficiency. This project, the Peaks Island Ferry Landside Operations Study, includes an effort to gather input from stakeholders on issues and opportunities with respect to existing landside ferry-related infrastructure.

To that end, the City needs your input:

  • Take the Survey:  We want your opinions and input on issues and recommendations about the landside infrastructure at the Peaks Island ferry landing by completing the survey. Find the survey here: www.surveymonkey.com/r/S7WCLSS. The survey will be open through July 23.

  • Participate in the Virtual Public Meeting:  Attend an on-line meeting on the evening of July 16. The meeting will feature a presentation of findings from Phases 1 and 2; a discussion of potential study recommendations; and an opportunity for you to provide your input. Information to access the meeting via Zoom can be found on the project website.

Date:         Thursday, July 16, 2020
