Annual Spring Curbside Collection of Leaf Bags/Yard Waste Will Be Held April 27 - May 8

Curbside Leaf Yard Waste Collection

The annual curbside collection of leaf bags/yard waste will be held Monday, April 27 through Friday, May 8. The leaves must be in large, paper biodegradable leaf bags that can be purchased at most hardware stores. Place the biodegradable leaf bags curbside on your normal trash day during the above dates and City crews will take care of the rest!

Depending on the volume of leaves collected each day, crews might not be able to collect them all on the same day as your trash collection. Please leave your bags out and crews will return.

Routine weekly trash and recycling collection continues to operate as normal.

Update: The Riverside Recycling Facility will re-open to Portland residents starting Saturday, April 11. This includes using an e-card or payment for dropping off leaf bags, bulky items, and electronic waste. The silver bullet recycling drop off containers will reopen starting Monday, April 13. As a reminder, the household hazardous waste collection day scheduled for May 2 has been cancelled.
