West Side Interceptor Sewer Survey Work

The City of Portland, in an effort to provide increased system reliability, has engaged SGC Surveyors to locate and stake out the West Side Interceptor. The survey and stake out work is to identify the location of the existing West Side Interceptor Right-of-Way. This work is being done so the City's Department of Public Works, Water Resources crews may inspect, clean, test, maintain and rehabilitate the West Side Interceptor.

Survey work will be done between November 18 and December 20

There is no date set presently for the sewer interceptor inspection, cleaning testing, maintenance work and rehabilitation work

The West Side Interceptor begins at the intersection of Warren Avenue and Newcomb Street, crosses the railroad tracks, continues along Capisic Brook around the perimeter of Evergreen Cemetery, continues parallel to Capisic Brook, crosses Warwick St and Dennett St. and ends at Brighton Avenue near the intersection with Harman Rd.
