New Development Review Project Notices

56 Milliken Street - New Development Review Project

To residents and property owners: Jeff Witherell, representing Plymouth Industrial REIT, Inc, has submitted a Level 3 site plan and a Site Location of Development Act application for a proposed 72,000 sf warehouse at 56 Milliken Street. The warehouse is proposed adjacent to an existing 200,035 sf warehouse, which will remain. Access is currently from Milliken Street and a second access is proposed off of Riverside Industrial Parkway. A total of 2.98 acres of impervious surface area will be added to the developed site. The 31 acre property is in the Industrial IM zone. The application will be reviewed under Portland's Site Plan Standards and under the delegated review for the Site Location of Development Act.  In accordance with the Portland Land Use Ordinance, notices of receipt of a Level 3: Site Plan application must be sent to property owners within 500 ft. of the subject property (or 1,000 ft. if the project is a subdivision or map amendment for a site located within an Industrial Zone). You will be notified of future Planning Board meetings by receiving notices from the Planning Division prior to any workshops or public hearings.  A project and plan summary is available for viewing on the Citizen Self Service Portal (https://egweb.portlandmaine.gov/energovprod/selfservice), by referencing Plan Number PL-000392-2018. Written comments should be submitted to planningboard@portlandmaine.gov.
