Bramhall Square to Shine this Winter with New Pandora Lights - Join Us December 3 at 7PM

NEWS ALERT

Thanks to a new public-private partnership between the City of Portland, Maine Medical Center, and the Parkside Neighborhood Association, Bramhall Square will be adorned with Pandora lights this winter. The first annual Light Up Bramhall Square event will be held on Monday, December 3 at 7:00 PM, and the public is encouraged to attend. Hot cocoa will also be available. Maine Medical Center is funding the $5,000 cost of the lights and installation.

“I am thrilled with Maine Medical Center's collaboration with the Parkside Neighborhood Association and the City of Portland to light up Bramhall Square,” said District 2 City Councilor, Spencer Thibodeau. “This is the culmination of years of work and I look forward to the additional public-private partnerships to come in the future."

“We recognize the role Maine Medical Center plays as an important member of this neighborhood, and we’re pleased we can help brighten our community a bit and spread holiday cheer to our neighbors, employees and patients,” said Jeff Sanders, Maine Medical Center’s Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President.

Emma Holder, Parkside Neighborhood Association President, said “the Parkside Neighborhood Association is proud to partner with Maine Med and the City of Portland to bring Pandora's lights to Bramhall Square. This little park will be the next illuminated link in the chain of public spaces connecting Portland east to west along Congress Street."

Liz Trice, of Peloton Labs, shared, "we are so grateful for the partnerships that will give our little park Pandora's beautiful lights!"
