New Development Review Project Notices

29 Vannah Avenue - New Development Review Project

To residents and property owners: Timothy S. Darling Plumbing and Heating, have submitted a preliminary Level 2 site plan application for the expansion of the building at 29 Vannah Avenue. The proposal is to add 2,721 sf to the existing structure to accommodate the new truck bays with accompanying office and bathroom space. The proposal includes adding sidewalks and defining curb cuts along the frontage. The 13,582 sf site is within the B-1 zone and the proposal is subject to Portland's site plan standards.  In accordance with the Portland Land Use Ordinance, notices of receipt of a Level II Site Plan application must be sent to property owners located within 500 ft. of the subject property (or 1,000 ft. if the project is a subdivision or map amendment for a site located within an Industrial Zone). This application will be reviewed administratively by City Staff. This is the only notice you will receive.  A project and plan summary is available for viewing on the Citizen Self Service Portal (https://egweb.portlandmaine.gov/energovprod/selfservice), by referencing Plan Number PL-000353-2018. Written comments should be submitted to planningboard@portlandmaine.gov.
