Silver Bullet Recycling Containers Moving from Angelo's Acre by October 31

news alert

The City’s Public Works Department will be removing the publicly accessible drop-off recycling containers currently located on Commercial Street in the Angelo’s Acre lot (441 Commercial Street) by October 31, 2018.

There will still be drop-off locations at the Riverside Golf Course and Riverside Recycling. Other available drop-off locations can be found by visiting ecomaine’s website.

The containers are being moved because of contamination and illegal dumping that occurs given the bullets are not monitored at this site.

The City plans to reactivate the Angelo’s Acre site as a parking lot with 40 additional parking spaces, and new lighting to enhance the site’s safety and security.
