To residents and property owners: A Level 1: Site Alteration application was submitted to the City of Portland Planning Division by Portland's Public Works Department for an 84 inch outfall into Back Cove at 1000 Preble Street. The proposed outfall is part of the City's long-term plans to control combined sewer overflows. The outfall is in the ROS zone and is subject to review under the City's site plan ordinance and shoreland zoning regulations.
In accordance with the Portland Land Use Ordinance, notices of receipt of a Level 1: Site Alteration application must be sent to property owners located within 500 ft. of the subject property. This application will be reviewed administratively by City Staff. This is the only notice you will receive.
Plans are available for viewing, in person, in the Planning Division, 4th Floor, City Hall by referencing Application ID# 2017-035 or CBL # 034A D001.
