February 9 Finance Committee Meeting Cancelled Due to Winter Storm

Due to the winter storm and City Hall closing at 12:00 PM, tonight's Finance Committee meeting has been cancelled. The meeting's agenda was to include a discussion of the school bond and the CIP budget. 


"In light of today's Nor'Easter storm, which is expected to bring 10 (or potentially more) inches of snow and create blizzard like conditions, I have decided to close City Hall and City buildings for non-essential staff at 12:00 PM today," said City Manager Jon Jennings. "Because of this, the Finance Committee meeting also scheduled for tonight has been cancelled."   

 

Jennings continued, "I'd like to send my sincerest appreciation to all of the winter operations crews, police, and fire personnel who will be working around the clock today to keep everyone safe throughout this storm."
