As you may be aware, we are working with the City of Portland on a design for a replacement Fred P. Hall Elementary School. We are anticipating that the construction will start in the Spring of 2017 and be completed prior to the start of the 2018-2019 school year.
This project requires filing both a City of Portland Level III Site Application and a Maine Department of Environmental Protection Site Location of Development Application. As part of the design and permitting process, and as required pursuant to Maine Revised Statutes 38 MR.S.A 481 through 490 and Sections 14-32(c) and 14-524 (a) of the City of Portland Code of Ordinances, we will be holding an informational meeting to review the project and its anticipated environmental impacts as well as answer questions you may have related to the process.
