The following applications are currently under review by the CDBG Annual Allocation Committee. The CDBG Annual Allocation Committee released their funding recommendations on Friday, March 5, 2021. The City Manager's funding recommendations were released on March 29, 2021.

Important Public Hearing & Public Comment Dates:

03/05/21 - 04/05/21: 30 Day Public Comment Period for 2021-2022 Consolidated Housing and Community Development Annual Action Plan including CDBG, HOME, and ESG funding recommendations. The Portland City Council will hold two public hearings to consider the allocation of the previously mentioned funding recommendations. The City welcomes comments on the 2021-2022 Consolidated Housing and Community Development Action Plan. Comments should be submitted by April 5th to Mary Davis, Housing and Community Development Division Director at mpd@portlandmaine.gov 

4/5/2021: The Portland City Council will be reviewing the 2021-2022 Consolidated Housing and Community Development Annual Action Plan including CDBG, HOME, and ESG funding recommendations. The meeting will be held remotely via ZOOM at 5:00pm. Public comment will be taken during this meeting. To submit comments prior to the meeting, please email the Portland City Council at council@portlandmaine.gov For more information about this meeting, and to access the Zoom link, please visit the City's agenda center. UPDATE: Due to a widespread internet outage this meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, April 12th

4/26/2021: The Portland City Council will be voting on the 2021-2022 Consolidated Housing and Community Development Annual Action Plan including CDBG, HOME, and ESG funding recommendations. Public comment will also be taken at this meeting. Five affirmative votes are required for passage after public comment.
