Learn more. Enforcement of meters and time zones will begin June 1.
  • Curbside Trash & Recycling:  Regular weekly curbside collection of trash & recycling has not changed and is operating normally. The annual spring curbside collection of leaf bags/yard waste will go on as planned beginning Monday, April 27 through Friday, May 8. Find out more.
  • Purple Pay-As-You-Throw Trash Bags:  While we encourage you to use the purple PAYT bags you have on hand, we realize you may not want to go to the store as often. Because of this, DPW will collect trash in any bag on a temporary basis. Items must be in a trash bag (no shopping bags) that weighs less than 30 pounds and is able to secure the contents. Bulky items will not be picked up. Purple trash bags will be required for trash collection beginning June 1.
  • Solid Waste at Riverside Recycling: Riverside Recycling is open for e-card holders and other payments. The silver bullet containers are also available. Household Hazardous Waste collections scheduled for April 4 and May 2 are cancelled.
  • 2020 Revaluation Notices Postponed: The City is delaying the timeline for the revaluation notices, which were scheduled to be sent in May. The notices will be sent at a time to be determined in the future. Information regarding the new timeline will be shared as it becomes available.
