Employee Wellness Program

Effective 7/1/19, employees will contribute 15%, a value of $28.23, towards the overall single plan premium.  They may voluntarily participate in activities to reduce or eliminate this contribution.  Recent activity components have included:  biometric screening, health risk assessment, meet with a health coach (peer fitness trainer if firefighter), physical activity challenge and tobacco attestation or smoking cessation workshop.  Each activity has a 3% incentive.

However, the wellness incentive activities are currently under review to expand the number of options that employees may select from.  Continue to watch for announcements regarding enhanced offerings in the fall of 2019.
