September tax bills delayed - due date now oct 18, 2019
The City of Portland is streamlining its annual tax billing process to create greater efficiency and lower overall costs. Beginning with the FY20 tax bills, mailed out on September 26 and 27, residents will receive a single annual tax bill with two payment coupons.
The mailing dates will return to normal next year. First half tax bill payments are not due until October 18, 2019 compared to the standard mid-September due date. The March 20, 2020 second half bill due date remains unchanged.
