The City Clerk’s Office is not allowed to process birth, death and marriage certificates online due to state regulations. The public can call the Clerk’s Office at 207-874-8610 or email cityclerk@portlandmaine.gov to handle these requests via postal mail. All marriage ceremonies scheduled at City Hall have been cancelled for now. 


​JUNE 9 election day


Notice To City Of Portland Voters:  There will be a State Primary and Municipal School Budget /Referendum Election on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
 
The Clerk's Office is open during business hours, for any resident wishing to register to vote, request an absentee ballot, or early vote by absentee. On Thursday, June 4, 2020 only the Clerk's Office will remain open until 7:00 P.M for the last day of absentee voting.

POLLING LOCATIONS
Polls open at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM on Election Day. All polling places are ADA compliant. You can register to vote at your polling location on Election Day.
